All Market users must submit a Parking Bay Application Form to park any vehicle within the Melbourne Market and National Flower Centre. Users who do no not need to enter with a vehicle can access casual parking in the P1 visitor car park and enter on foot. To apply for a parking bay:
Download and complete a Parking Bay Application Form.
Submit the form in-person to the Customer Service Centre.
The Customer Service team will assess availability of the requested parking bay and if there are availabilities, will allocate a bay. At this time, you will be required to pay for the parking fee and sign a parking permit. Your access card will also be updated.
If there are no current availabilities, you will be notified when parking has been allocated.
Important information:
A current account and Access Card is required to apply for parking.
Parking permits are transferrable between vehicles registered under the same account.
Vehicles, Market Approved Vehicles, produce, or objects are not allowed to be stored on parking bays.
Flower hand trollies are not to be taken beyond the market gates, including out to the P1 administration car park. For information about parking closer to the National Flower Centre, please contact Customer Service.
A limited number of 24-hour parking bays are available in P7 only. Contact the Customer Service Centre for more information.
If you have been allocated a parking bay that you no longer require, complete the parking bay disposal form and return it to the Customer Service Centre. Please note you will be liable for parking fees up to the date your form is received by the MMA.
The Market has been segmented into different parking areas for different types of vehicles. When you can use these areas will depend on the time within the trade cycle. All reserved bays are numbered.
