The wholesale fruit and vegetable market at Epping is open to approved buyers from food-related industries including independent supermarkets, greengrocers, providores, hospitality businesses, aged care facilities, food processors and manufacturers.

On the buyers’ walk, there are 156 permanent stores that have dedicated spaces serve as both display and storage areas for produce. The buyers’ walk is home to the largest wholesalers in Victoria and the country, offering buyers an abundance of top quality local and imported produce.The fruit and vegetable market consists of two areas offering an abundance of fresh local and imported produce: the Trading Floor and Buyers Walk. The Trading Floor accommodates 330 stands of over 12,500 square meters and is home to many of the market’s small to medium growers and agents. The Buyers’ Walk is made up of permanent stores occupied by more than 100 larger wholesalers and some of Australia’s biggest fresh produce distributors.
