Power

The Melbourne Market and National Flower Centre is powered through a private embedded electricity network which is owned and managed by the Melbourne Market Authority (MMA). This structure allows electricity to be purchased in bulk, and on-sold to tenants at a reduced cost. The Market’s 5,432 solar panels also feed into this network, helping to reduce our carbon footprint.

Electricity for Stores

Tenants may choose to connect to the Market’s embedded electricity network (managed by WinConnect) or appoint their own third-party supplier. The embedded network enables tenants to access competitive electricity rates via economies of scale from using a single supplier. For more information about the embedded network, please contact WinConnect

Manage your energy account via the WinConnect Portal below.

Electricity for Stands

Power is available to all stand holders in the Melbourne Market and National Flower Centre. Each reel has at least a capacity of 10 Amps (2400w). License holders who apply for power will be charged a capital cost per reel installation, which can be paid in quarterly instalments, plus an ongoing operating cost per quarter.
